Until We Meet Again was painted for my mother and my daughter Poppy, two women I have loved and lost.
It’s about that female thread that runs through us, the connection between mothers and daughters that doesn’t break, even in absence. The piece came from a feeling I keep returning to: that the people who are truly close to your heart don’t require physical presence to be felt. Their love stays with you. It moves through you.
This painting is a quiet reminder that the strongest bonds aren’t held together by proximity. They simply are always there, always felt. Until we meet again.
