The Dock Of The Bay Original Artwork

$700.00

This is an original artwork by Mia Sully.

Limited edition prints are available for this artwork here.

Medium: Acrylic, impasto & oil pastel on canvas, 61cm x 61cm.

The Dock of the bay began as a response to the mood and emotion of Otis Redding’s song, evolving into a vivid abstract landscape full of colour and movement. Mia first heard this track as a child, watching her mum paint to his music - it’s a memory that’s stuck with her ever since. Since loosing her a few years ago, playing those nostalgic songs in her studio has become a way to honour their shared love of art. This piece holds all of that - memory, music, emotion drifting together like the tide.

Mia Sully currently ships to Australia only. For international orders or a shipping quote, please contact directly here.
